Rupinder is a seasoned data leader with over two decades of experience across financial services, software, telecom, and retail. Her expertise spans data management, business intelligence, advanced analytics, AI, and machine learning. Prior to Sobeys, she was Chief Data Officer and SVP of Data & AI at Hudson’s Bay Company and led Data Science at Bell’s AI Labs. She joined Sobeys in 2021 to build and lead its Enterprise Data Office. Rupinder has a passion for positioning data as a strategic business enabler and has a track record of driving enterprise-level data and AI strategies. She was recognized as a “Global Top 100 Innovator in Data & Analytics” in 2022 and serves on CDO Magazine’s Global Editorial Board. Notably, Rupinder is also a champion for women in tech leadership, having completed an Executive MBA to hone her leadership style and later mentoring a diverse team (at one point, 4 out of 5 of her tech team leaders were women).

Megan leads the Retail, ISV and Professional Services team at Microsoft. With a background spanning McKinsey, AI scaleups and musical theatre, she brings deep experience in digital transformation, launching new products and building high performing teams. She is a guest lecturer for the Rotman MBA program at U of T in Strategic Management and loves solving business problems with technology. Above all else she wants technology to make the world a better place for her (and everybody else’s) kids. Outside of work she’s a marathoner, musical theatre enthusiast, angel investor and her husband is desperately trying to get her into golf.
