Ms. Lang has extensive board experience, currently serving on the boards of War Child Canada and Women General Counsel Canada.

Bruce Rodgers has been an active participant on the Board of Directors for CIFFA since 2009, and became Executive Director in October 2018. Bruce has several years of senior executive experience with several large transportation organizations, where he successfully bolstered revenue and maximized profitability by combining his high level of business acumen, strong leadership and a continued focus on results. Bruce is well-known for his high level of commitment to anything he becomes involved in, strategic approach, mastery in considering multiple perspectives and solving problems, and ability to connect and collaborate with others at all levels.

Bruce also believes in giving back to the communities he’s involved in, and for much of his career has served on the Board of Directors of various industry associations including the Toronto Transportation Club and Canadian Courier & Logistics Association.

Florian is Co-CEO of ARISTID, the promotional data platform for retail. He is also head of product and CTO, leading all technology development for ARISTID’s end-to-end promotional management and automation platform. Florian has deep roots in retail marketing operations and technology, with over 15 years as a retail technologist working and developing with many of our ecosystem partners.

Sara Thivierge is Senior Director, Marketing Strategy and Execution at RONA. Recognized for her transformation-driven approach, she leverages automation, data, and technology integration to deliver high-impact initiatives that enhance both operational performance and business results.

She leads promotional strategy as well as go-to-market execution to drive sales growth across both B2C and B2B, in-store and online.

With over 25 years of experience, she is known for turning key levers—promotions, email, and integrated marketing—into powerful drivers of performance. She plays a key role in evolving marketing models toward greater efficiency, consistency, and commercial impact.

Prior to joining RONA, Sara spent nearly 25 years at Le Groupe Jean Coutu, where she led loyalty and personalized communications strategies. She developed large-scale email programs and contributed to the monetization of media assets.

Amir Hameed is a professional engineer with over 25 years of UC/CC domain expertise in presales leadership roles in companies including Avaya, Sonus, Nortel Networks, and 8×8. As the current Senior Vice President of WW Solution Sales & Engineering at RingCentral, Amir and his organization work with partners and prospects to support customers’ digital transformation strategies worldwide as they migrate their business communications to the Cloud. Amir resides in Toronto, Canada.

Adam is the Senior Vice President of Product & Marketing at Flipp, a leading retail technology company. In his role, Adam is focused on building products and technologies that help people make smart shopping decisions while enabling retailers and brands to influence those decisions through digital merchandising experiences.

Adam is an experienced, charismatic speaker, who most recently delivered the Concurrent Session at RCC’s Retail Marketing Conference in September 2023, alongside Matthew Cheung. Adam is an accomplished public speaker with the ability to distill complex and large ideas into relatable real-life analogies and examples that bring context and inclusivity to multiple audiences.

Before joining Flipp, Adam led various businesses at Procter & Gamble including Retail Innovation, eCommerce, Market Strategy & Planning, and the Amazon Business Development Team. Adam graduated from the University of Toronto where he studied Computer Science and Political Science. Before graduation, Adam took a four-year break from University to tour the world as a member of a critically acclaimed reggae-rock band called Panic & the Rebel Emergency.      

Frederic is Leader of AI & Innovation for Microsoft Solutions at Talan Americas. He helps organizations turn AI ambition into measurable business value by bridging strategy, architecture, and execution. Working at the intersection of business and technology, he guides teams in designing and deploying scalable, secure, and responsible Microsoft-based solutions.

Frederic partners closely with both technical and executive stakeholders to shape AI-driven initiatives, modernize platforms, and accelerate the transition from experimentation to real-world impact. He is passionate about building high-performing teams, fostering a culture of innovation, and enabling organizations to navigate change with clarity and confidence.”

Marie-Hélène Cusson is Vice-President, Digital at RONA, where she oversees the company’s digital ecosystem, including e-commerce, analytics, online merchandising, and customer experience. She plays a key role in shaping RONA’s digital growth and evolving how customers shop across channels.

With over a decade at RONA, Marie-Hélène has held a range of senior leadership positions across digital, marketing, and e-commerce. Her experience spans brand strategy, customer insights, and omnichannel execution, supporting multiple banners within the organization.

She has led several transformative initiatives, most notably the launch of RONA’s AI-powered search platform, recognized with the Retail Council of Canada “E-Commerce Experience” award in 2025. Known for her pragmatic and customer-first approach, Marie-Hélène focuses on turning digital capabilities into tangible business impact and better shopping experiences.

Luc Dumont, a Montreal native, has been working and living in Toronto since 2009 and currently holds the position of Senior Vice-President of Consumer Insights at Leger. He first joined the Leger team in 2010, bringing with him over 25 years of extensive experience in both quantitative and qualitative market research. His areas of expertise include customer experience, usability, product development, and innovation studies. Luc is particularly skilled as a focus group moderator and has conducted qualitative research in various countries throughout his career.

In his role, Luc is committed to assisting Leger’s clients in creating and adapting experiential strategies that enhance customer loyalty and strengthen brand attachment. He is also a frequent media spokesperson for Leger on a wide range of topics such as customer journeys, new product research, market studies, brand image and positioning, and qualitative research.

As a senior member of the consulting team at Leger, Luc serves as a strategic advisor to the firm’s clients. His background covers a spectrum of research areas including new product development, market evaluation, brand image and health, strategic marketing, ad testing and tracking, customer satisfaction and experience, advertising, concept testing, segmentation, personification, and usability testing. Luc not only leads the retail and financial services research teams but also oversees the development of discussion guides and questionnaires, manages deadlines, and handles analysis and strategic insights. His contributions are vital in the presentation of results and in his advisory role in all projects.

Jordan Kajfasz is the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for CPKC’s Intermodal business. In his role Jordan is responsible for driving sustainable growth through CPKC’s three-country single line network, coverage at multiple ports on the Pacific and Atlantic coasts, and its premium Domestic services in Canada, the USA and Mexico. Jordan joined CPKC in 2017 and was previously responsible for CPKC’s Domestic Intermodal, International Intermodal and Automotive lines of business. He is based in Toronto, Canada.

Jordan’s career has been focused on international shipping and supply chains. He previously worked at the Vancouver Port Authority and at Maersk Line with postings in Canada, the United States and West Africa.

Jordan holds a Master’s degree from the University of Denver’s Transportation Institute and Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto.

Amit brings to the team 20+ years of Retail / CPG cross – functional sector experience across a blend of start-up + industry + consulting + data / tech solutions organizations. His experience spans leading companies such as Aldi, Accenture, IRI (Circana) and Sensormatic Retail Solutions. Primary skill set includes leading teams to implement strategic industry wide company initiatives and products to improve overall business performance in the areas of Marketing/Consumer Insights, Merchandising, Supply Chain, Retail Operations (Core Retail/CPG Value chain) with a focus on designing and leveraging the right Human Capital architecture and Operating Model. Amit is based out of Chicago. He has a BS in Business Management from NC State University (Raleigh, NC) and an MBA from Northwestern Kellogg School of Management (Evanston, IL).

Kris Zanuldin is Head of KONEK, building convenient and trusted payment experiences for consumers, merchants and financial institutions — with a vision to become Canada’s leading way to pay. He brings over 20 years of experience in payments, e-commerce, and fraud prevention. Kris previously served as Head of Product for Amazon Pay, leading global initiatives to simplify digital checkout for millions of customers, and has held leadership roles at Forter, American Express and Powered by People. His work focuses on advancing secure digital transactions and creating seamless, trustworthy customer experiences.

Leanne brings over 25 years of experience in senior roles within retail, consumer-facing technology and media companies. She is currently SVP at Loblaw Advance and before joining Loblaw, Leanne served as Country Manager at Spotify Canada. Prior to her time at Spotify, she held roles at Walmart Connect, as Vice President and Managing Director and she was the Head of Retail, eCommerce, and CPG for Meta Canada. Leanne currently serves on the board of North York General Hospital Foundation.

35+ years as a retail executive in Food, Mass, Entertainment and Pharmacy.  Mark held key leadership roles in Marketing, Merchandising and Operations with Loblaws, Target, Empire Co. and Pharmasave.  As a retail consultant for IBM, Mark uses his knowledge of the industry combined with IBM’s global expertise across the retail spectrum to help retailers achieve their goals.

Marc Leveille is a seasoned retail executive with over 30 years of industry experience, including 17 years at the forefront of retail planning software design and implementation. Having held key roles at major retailers such as Home Depot, Best Buy, and Hudson Bay, Marc’s expertise spans store sales, merchandising, and executive leadership of allocation, replenishment, and planning teams.

Blending his technical proficiency with deep operational insight, Marc has delivered impactful merchandising, assortment, and allocation solutions for leading fashion brands including Target Apparel, Steve Madden, lululemon, Michael Kors, Jimmy Choo, and Levi’s North America. His track record covers everything from project kickoffs to full-scale ERP and store system implementations, establishing him as a recognized leader and innovator in retail technology and planning.

Sheri Rogers is President of Prospect Media, an advanced analytics & media agency at the intersection of retail, technology, and performance marketing. She is known for turning complex data into clear, actionable insights that help brands make smarter decisions and drive measurable growth.

Ricardo Baltazar focuses on the operational deployment and business viability of AI in the retail sector. As a partner at ZeroStone, he guides organizations through complex enterprise transformations, ensuring that AI initiatives move beyond experimental pilots to deliver measurable impact across the customer journey and store operations.

Ricardo has spent his professional career integrating AI and other transformative emerging technologies into established businesses and markets. His methodology treats human-centered design and cultural transformation as core pillars of any technological shift, ensuring that successful adoption addresses change management with the same rigour as technical implementation. This perspective is grounded in a PhD in Behavioral Neuroscience, providing a deep understanding of how people think, decide, and behave within new technological paradigms.

In that role, he focused on integrating transformative technology into large-scale retail environments while balancing operational realities with long-term business goals.

Nick Hinsley is Chief Revenue Officer at Vantage, where he leads global revenue strategy and commercial growth for the company’s retail media orchestration platform. He works closely with retailers and other commerce media verticals to help them unlock new revenue streams and scale high-performing retail media businesses by connecting first-party data, media activation, and measurable business outcomes.

Nick brings more than 20 years of commercial and go-to-market experience across marketing technology, SaaS, retail media, and customer data, with a track record of building and scaling high-performing teams in fast-growing technology companies. His work focuses on helping organizations translate customer data and audience insights into smarter marketing strategies, stronger customer relationships, and sustainable revenue growth.

Joe Jackman is the Founder & Chairman of Jackman (www.jackmanreinvents.com), a
respected management consulting firm specialized in growth through transformation.

As former VP Retail at adidas Canada, Lesley Hawkins built a 30-year corporate career in the sporting goods industry leading teams for iconic brands including adidas, Reebok, TaylorMade, Titleist, and FootJoy. Lesley brings her experience to the stage as a keynote speaker, leadership developer, and host of The Lesley Hawkins Podcast. Tabare has over twenty-five years of experience in senior roles across the liner shipping, ports, and logistics industries. He joined DP World in 2006 to lead commercial development at the Port of Tilbury in the United Kingdom. In 2008, he participated in DP World’s Global Organization Leadership Development (GOLD) program, gaining operational experience across key global locations including Dubai, Tarragona, Sydney, and Hong Kong. In 2009 he was appointed Head of Port Commercial for DP World London Gateway, one of the world’s most technologically advanced container ports and Europe’s largest logistics park.

In 2016, Tabare joined DP World Canada as Vice President, Commercial, with responsibility for all DP World ports and terminals across Canada, including Vancouver, Nanaimo, Fraser Surrey, Prince Rupert, and Saint John. He holds an MBA from Vlerick Business School in Belgium and a Master’s degree in Container Terminal Management from Middlesex University in England.

With over 14 years of dynamic experience in the supply chain industry, Craig Bell Estabrooks has garnered a reputation for excellence. Since taking the helm as President & CEO of Port Saint John in 2021, Craig’s laser focus on delivering prosperity for the community, region, and province has generated record-breaking cargo volumes, revenue growth, and transformative infrastructure investments on the waterfront.  

Under Craig’s guidance, Port Saint John continues to cement its position as one of North America’s fastest-growing Ports thanks to an emphasis on enabling partner success, championing innovation, and creating a safe and efficient port of choice. 

David Brownstein joined Browns full time in 2004 and played a key role in the company’s early digital initiatives, leading the launch of its first transactional e-commerce website in 2008. In 2009, he oversaw a reorganization of Store Sales ahead of Browns’ national retail expansion and was subsequently named Vice President of Sales, joining the company’s Executive team.

As VP Sales, David continued to oversee e-commerce while leading the development of Browns’ retail infrastructure during a decade of store growth across Canada. Following the pandemic, he was appointed Chief Operating Officer in 2022, where he helped drive significant organizational expansion to support the company’s next phase of growth. In 2025, he became President, representing the fourth generation of the Brownstein family to lead Browns.

David lives in Montreal with his wife and two sons.

Frederick is a retail industry leader with 25 years of experience and a passion for brands and marketing technology. Before moving to Canada in 2012 to join FGL Sports to oversee Marketing and eCommerce, he occupied various senior executive marketing positions for prestigious organization such as Pepsi, Nokia, Microsoft and more recently LG Electronics at the HQ in Seoul Korea where he was leading the global brand strategy and digital team. Over the past two years, he has also been driving the integration of generative AI into marketing workflows, starting with the adoption of tools like Jasper.

Ekaterina is a growth-driven marketing leader who blends corporate executive expertise with creator-level consumer engagement. As Vice President of Marketing at Miele, she leads brand strategy, digital transformation, and consumer experience across premium markets. Her career spans executive roles at L’Oréal and in the pharmaceutical sector, where she built high-performing teams and drove innovation through rapid industry change.

Noah is a seasoned executive with over 15 years of experience driving growth and innovation across the retail industry. Currently serving as VP/GM of Digital Loyalty at Loblaw, Noah leads a team of 50+ in advancing Canada’s largest loyalty program, PC Optimum, and oversees all digital communications across Loblaw Companies. 

Previously, Noah served as VP/GM of Joe Fresh eCommerce, where he enhanced operational efficiency, implemented scalable fulfillment solutions, and optimized overall business performance. His ability to lead cross-functional teams, optimize digital operations, and drive measurable outcomes has been consistent throughout his career, including leadership roles at Psycho Bunny, Mackage, and Ardene.

Benjamin is a member of the CIBC economic team that is responsible for analyzing macro economic developments and their implications for fixed income, equity, foreign exchange and commodities markets. He also acts in an advisory capacity to bank officers on issues related to wealth management, household credit and risk, and corporate credit and risk. 

Well-known for his ground-breaking published research on topics such as labour market dynamics, real estate, credit markets, international trade and business economic conditions, Benjamin not only contributes to the conversation but also frequently sets the agenda. 

Benjamin has close to 20 years of experience in the private sector advising clients, industry leaders, corporate boards, trade associations and governments on economic and financial issues. He is also a regular commentator in the media. 

Benjamin is a member of the Economic Committee of The Canadian Chamber of Commerce and the Economic Development Committee of the Toronto Board of Trade. He is also a board member for the Governors of Junior Achievement of Central Ontario and Toronto Financial International. 

Santo Ligotti is the VP of Member Services and Marketing at Retail Council of Canada and brings over 20 years of experience of marketing leadership. Santo began his career in data sciences and progressed to lead B2B/B2C marketing teams across financial, technology and payments industries including companies such as TD Canada Trust, Rogers Communications, CIBC, Moneris and JPMorgan Chase.

In addition, Santo is the President Elect for the  American Marketing Association, Toronto Chapter and teaches part time at George Brown College and York University. Santo holds an undergraduate degree in statistics from McMaster University, a Master’s in Information Science from the University of Western Ontario and an MBA from York University

Kim Furlong is President & CEO of the Retail Council of Canada (RCC), bringing over two decades of experience at the intersection of public policy, business, and advocacy. Known for her strategic mindset and collaborative approach, Kim leads RCC at a pivotal time for the retail industry—championing members’ interests, shaping national policy, and building strong partnerships across sectors.

Before rejoining RCC in 2025, Kim spent six years as CEO of the Canadian Venture Capital & Private Equity Association (CVCA). There, she played a key role in elevating the voice of Canada’s private capital sector, influencing public policy, and strengthening the country’s investment ecosystem.

Prior to CVCA, Kim spent a decade at Amgen Canada leading External Affairs, and also served as a senior political aide in two federal ministerial offices.

Throughout her career, Kim has earned a reputation as a trusted advisor and effective advocate, with a deep network spanning business, government, and media. She is passionate about building consensus, delivering results, and helping industries thrive in an evolving economic landscape.

Kim is an avid cyclist, enthusiastic foodie, and lifelong book lover. Originally from the picturesque town of Percé, Quebec, she is a proud French Quebecer. She now lives in Toronto with her husband and their twin boys—affectionately known as “the Peanuts.”

Rohit Sriram is the SVP of ecommerce & loyalty at Loblaws overseeing online businesses across food retail, beauty & apparel including brands such as Loblaws, No Frills, Real Canadian Superstore, Shoppers Drug Mart & Joe Fresh and the PC Optimum program. Rohit has over 18 years of experience working in Retail, Technology and Finance Industries formulating future-focused strategies to move the business effectively toward its long-term goals and objectives. He holds an MBA from University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Engineering from India.

Jean-Pierre Lacroix is President of Shikatani Lacroix Design (SLD), a global branding firm specializing in transforming customer experiences. With a thorough background in graphic design and strategic foresight, Lacroix is a future-focused innovator who has been instrumental in assisting brands to remain relevant.

Kerri-Ann Santaguida is a dynamic executive driving growth in revenue and market share as Vice President and General Manager of Merchant Services at American Express Canada. She leads a large national team across Canada, delivering innovation in payment management for merchants, fostering business success. Kerri-Ann is deeply committed to supporting small businesses, demonstrated by her leadership of Amex Canada's Shop Small Programs.

Selwyn Crittendon is CEO and CSO of IKEA Canada, a world-leading home furnishing retailer. Forward-thinking and passionate, Selwyn brings extensive experience as a people-focused steward of the IKEA vision to create a better everyday life for the many.

Selwyn joined the Canadian organization in August 2023, after spending 22 years in numerous roles within IKEA US, including leading business development and transformation.

An avid foodie and father of two, Selwyn has settled with his family in Oakville, ON.

Derek Schweitzer is the Senior Vice President of Stores, Canada at Michaels. With more than two decades at Michaels, Derek plays a critical role in shaping the company’s in-store experience and operational strategy across Canada. Since joining the company in 1998, he has held a range of leadership positions spanning store operations, management, and human resources, giving him a deep understanding of the business from both frontline and enterprise perspectives.

Prior to his current role, Derek served as Vice President of Retail Operations and General Manager for Michaels Canada, where he led the company’s Canadian business and oversaw store performance, operational execution, and team development across the region. Earlier in his career, he held leadership roles including Director of Human Resources for Canadian Operations and District Manager, building a strong foundation in both people leadership and retail operations.

Isabelle Bonin is currently Vice President of Marketing & E-Commerce at Reitmans, where she leads brand, creative, digital, and visual merchandising for one of Canada’s most iconic women’s fashion retailers.

A strategic and data-driven leader, Isabelle blends creativity, performance marketing, and customer insight to drive meaningful growth across brand and business. Carolyn Wright is Senior Vice President, Product and Planning at Holt Renfrew, Canada’s leading fashion and lifestyle destination. She leads all product categories comprehensive of the concession business which includes global luxury brands.

With more than 20 years of leadership experience across top brands like Adidas, Aritzia, and Joe Fresh, Carolyn brings deep expertise in brand development, retail strategy, and international growth. At Holt Renfrew, she leads a dynamic team shaping the company’s strategic roadmap and driving growth through customer-focused, sustainable, and inclusive product initiatives. Her leadership has been instrumental in evolving Holt Renfrew’s offering to reflect a more accessible, diverse, and responsible vision for modern Canadian luxury. Carolyn holds a BCOMM and an Accelerated MBA from Queen’s University. Passionate about mentorship and empowerment, she actively supports female and student programs and is part of Be Uninterrupted, a new network for women navigating career transitions. She also sits on the Board of Directors at Toronto’s Badminton and Racquet Club, contributing to its Sports Committee and DE&I Task Force. A former ski racer turned avid sports enthusiast, she now shares her love of athletics—and its life lessons—with her young son.

Sean McCormick is an expert in consumer spending data. Sean joined Moneris in 2015 and is the Vice President of Business Development, Moneris Data Services, which enables private and public sector organizations to use payment data to improve their economic forecasting capabilities and inform their economic development strategy. Sean specialized in SaaS products until the onset of the pandemic when governments needed trusted and reliable consumer spending data to make crucial policy decisions that were necessitated by the historical shift in consumer spending behaviour.  

Working with both the public and private sectors, Sean created a network of like-minded researchers, analysts and economists who leveraged Moneris data as an input to pandemic support and recovery strategy. This network continues to leverage Moneris spending insights to support a wide range of research objectives to better understand the impact of economic trends in different categories across Canada, including retail. 

David Boone is the Chief Executive Officer of The Michaels Companies, Inc.

Since assuming the role in February 2025, David has seized every opportunity to drive transformation and growth, solidifying Michaels as the leading destination for creativity and celebration in North America. 

Prior to joining Michaels, David was the interim CEO of Essendant, a wholesale, e-commerce, and 3PL company. David’s retail leadership experience includes previously serving as CEO of Staples Canada, where he led a six-year transformation, redefining its retail experience, expanding merchandise offerings, and scaling its services and B2B businesses through acquisitions and strategic partnerships. Before Staples, he held leadership roles at TD Bank USA, driving growth in financial services for major U.S. retailers. He also held a variety of executive positions during his 16 years at Loblaw Companies, Canada’s largest retailer, where he led its National Wholesale Club Division and played a key role in merchandising strategy and category management across several businesses. 

David holds a Bachelor of Commerce from McMaster University and an MBA from Kellogg (Northwestern) and Schulich (York University).

Eric Morris is the Managing Director and Head of Google’s Retail practice in Canada, where since 2002, he has worked alongside the country’s top marketers and advertising agencies.  

Eric has held several leadership roles at Google Canada, leading sales, operations, research, strategy and analytics for Google’s advertising business. Most recently, he led Google Canada’s search and performance advertising business.  

In 2016 Eric was named inventor and issued a patent in the United States for identifying rising search queries and trends at scale for advertisers worldwide. 

Eric was elected to the Interactive Advertising Bureau of Canada’s board of directors in 2009, and elected Chair of the board in 2015.
